Please contact us at info@guidedfitmama.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Yes! Core rehab is designed to heal a weak inner core and any Diastasis Recti (ab separation.) At any time, you can ALWAYS strengthen weak muscles and train those connective tissues to come back together to create a solid foundation for the abdominal muscles to heal. Come join us!
Not if you don't want to! An important goal for us is that you're comfortable and able to complete your routine within your lifestyle. As a mama, we know how crazy life can get.I have home versions for all programs. However, you're more than welcome to complete workouts at the gym as well!
This question is very subjective and varies from mom to mom. Generally, core rehab can take 6-12 weeks on average. However, rather than going based off time; we want to go based off body assessment. Here are some things you should look for before jumping into higher impact activity...
1. Are you experiencing any pelvic floor issues such as leaking when laughing, sneezing, coughing during daily activities or exercise? Do you feel a heaviness like your organs could fall out?
2. Do you experience any bulging or coning/doming of the abdomen when doing higher impact exercises or your current routine?
3. Do you hold your breath when doing higher impact activity or your current routine?
If your answer is yes to any of these questions, you want to continue with low impact exercise and core rehab until you regain integrity of your core. Once you can answer "no" to all questions, you may GRADUALLY ease into higher impact activity.
If you are ready to start your fitness journey, message me to get started! We have something for everyone. Everyone has a unique situation, and I'll strive to accommodate yours.
